GENERAL INFORMATION

The EurOMA 2025 Organizing Committee welcomes the submission of high-quality abstracts for oral presentations during the meeting, focusing on a wide variety of topics.

The abstract must adhere to the formatting in the sample abstract. Please use the template provided here:

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Abstracts are to be written in English and should be submitted electronically using the online tool, according to the template available on the website.
The abstract submission deadline is January 10 th 2025 (12:00 CET). The notification letters will be sent by February 20 th 2025.
All abstracts must be relevant to the conference topics. Authors will be asked to indicate the topic(s) which relate(s) most closely to the focus of the abstract. This is to assist with the review process and the creation of the conference programme itself.
Length of the abstract: max. 1000 words. (including title, main text and references). Abstracts exceeding the limit will be rejected. The abstract should be uploaded in .pdf format and must not include author names.
The title of the full paper has to be the same as the one of the initial abstract.
Your full paper will be accepted on the understanding that the submitted manuscript is an original work and has not been copyrighted, published, or accepted for presentation at any other conference

FULL PAPER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

If your abstract is accepted, you will have to submit a full paper and at least one of the authors will have to register to attend the conference by 15 April 2025.
Full papers have to be submitted electronically using the abstract management system.
Full papers have to be submitted by 15 April 2025 (noon CEST) at the latest. Papers submitted after the deadline will not be included in the conference program.
The title of the full paper has to be the same as the one of the initial abstract.
The overall length of the paper, including all illustrations, tables, and references, is limited to 10 pages.
The paper must adhere to the formatting in the sample abstract. Please use the template provided here:
Your full paper will be accepted on the understanding that the submitted manuscript is an original work and has not yet been copyrighted or published.
The full papers will be made available to the participants of the conference, and only to them, via the proceedings (not accessible to the public).

AWARDS

Chris Voss Best Paper Award

The authors are asked to decide whether or not their paper is suitable for consideration for the Chris Voss Best Paper Award.
Papers to be considered for the best paper award should be signaled by the authors at the time of submission of the Abstract.

Harry Boer Best Student Paper Award

Entrants must have been PhD-candidates on or after 15 June of the year before the conference. Only one entry can be submitted by an entrant.
The paper should not be signaled for consideration for the Chris Voss Best Paper Award.

Nigel Slack Teaching Innovation Award

This award is selected among papers that are submitted for the topic ‘Teaching and Learning in Operations Management’.
If you want to be considered for this award, then you must submit your abstract for this topic.

CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS

The proceedings will only be made available to the participants of the conference. They will not be indexed so as to avoid conflicts with potential journal submissions of the same papers.
